Arriving at the Gale River Motel, you are greeted in the lobby
with homemade chocolate chip cookies & our tea & cocoa bar.

Fire up the barbecue and enjoy a leisurely cookout while kids discover the play area or everyone joins in for a game of croquet, shuffleboard or horseshoes. Even the family dog is welcome (with advance notice and only if he/she is friendly). As mom & dad enjoy a burger, the children can safely run & play within easy sight on our expansive lawns or pool deck.

With over six acres of land to wander, and additional acreage across the road on the Gale River, finding a quiet corner to throw down a blanket and watch the clouds drift by is easy.

Brew a cup of coffee, sit on the porch in front of your room, soak up the "million dollar view" of Franconia Notch and enjoy the view of the mountain summits, makes for a great start to your day.

And, it doesn't get any better when after a busy day of adventuring, the day ends with a relaxing leisurely soak in our outdoor Hot Tub or indoor Jacuzzi Spa.

Guests can also enjoy free rental of our VCR/DVD, microwave, and board games. Children's movies are available at no charge. Charcoal & lighter fluid are also available for a small fee if you wish to have a cook-out.
